Tour Two: Bangkok Food Tour

Fans of good food already know about Thai cuisine: it’s one of the world’s best, right up there with Chinese and French cuisine. And, needless to say, Bangkok is the place to make a full exploration of this remarkable cuisine. My food tour of Bangkok provides the perfect entrée to the world of Thai cuisine. We start at a market, where you can see all the wondrous products that are used to create magic in the Thai kitchen. After thoroughly exploring one of Bangkok’s best produce markets, we stop for lunch to sample some truly excellent Thai dishes in a traditional Thai atmosphere. From here, we stop into another market to check out yet more Thai ingredients. Finally, we stop for refreshment in a traditional Thai teahouse, where we sample some traditional Thai beverages. Before we part, my guide will provide you with information about the best places in Bangkok to continue your exploration of the world of Thai food, including maps and menu suggestions.

This tour takes approximately six hours and can be undertaken by anyone in reasonable shape. You can choose between public transport or a private car for the day.
