Your guide will meet you at your hotel and escort you to Kanchanaburi ( about 2-2.30 hours southwest of Bangkok). Arrive in Kanchanaburi and start to visit the War Cemetery, where the remains of nearly 7,000 prisoners of war who perished in the construction of the Thai-Burma Death Railway were buried. Jeath Museum is adjacent, constructed in the form of an actual prisoner of war camp, then continue to visit Bridge on the River Kwai which is part of the Death Railway. Board a train, rides along an unforgettable scenic, passing through tapioca and sugar cane farms to end at one station “Tham Krasae” and then go for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward we will continue be driving you to the Hellfire Pass walking trail and its memorial museum. The construction of the Hellfire Pass during the Second World War was a tragedy. Thousands of allied prisoners of war were forced to work long hours and under the most hellish conditions. Finally you will be taking back to your hotel in Bangkok at the conclusion of the tour.
